Why not make a period musical room in your home! New ideas for new areas of your home? A space for a piano or harp? Email us your ideas; we can help you in your search for that certain unique period piece that matches your taste!

Beginnings

The idea of Amadeus came from the reduction of our large private collections of early Pianoforte and Harps. Having a collection that was more then 200 pieces at one time, we decided to not only change the private collection, but to offer these rare and unique pieces to the public. This would also help fund a private concert hall, using some of these rare pieces in fabulous concerts, and also fund the “Sebastien Erard Research and History Center for Pianoforte and Harps”. The latter will be a private library of donated papers, photos and items by people throughout the world.

Many people have purchased our instruments to be used professionally or for decoration in homes throughout the world. But it just wasn’t about the selling of the Instruments, it was also about the possibilities of educating the public and professionals to the importance of these marvels of the Musical Instrument Industry. From Europe, Australia, and of course the Americas, each holds their own small portion of the different aadvancements in all areas of this history. Our job is to share and hopefully re-educate this importance to those interested in buying musical instruments from these rare periods. We look forward to hearing any comments, and thank you for visiting our website.
